Single mum, Rehabilitation Counsellor and Disability Advocate, Chithrani Palipana, together with her son, 2021 QLD Australian of the Year and Queensland’s first medical graduate with quadriplegia Dr Dinesh Palipana OAM, share their story of courage and resilience with Credabl’s Katie Kahler.
Episode 2: Career and Entrepreneurship amidst a pandemic
When young Dentist Dr Safinah Hambali embarked on the journey of opening her own private practice in the Melbourne suburb of Northcote, she did not anticipate over 100 days of lockdown and the impact that would have on her new business. GP and women’s health specialist Dr Anita Moss works at the Royal Flying Doctor Service addressing the healthcare gap in rural and remote Australia. Leading fertility specialist Dr Anne Clark became the first female doctor in Australia to obtain the CREI subspecialist qualification in reproductive medicine and fertility more than 28 years ago.
