Helping Hand Grant categories
Purpose in Practice
Our flagship award recognises a healthcare professional or practice creating meaningful impact through their commitment to patients, team members and community.
This is for the people going above and beyond, often without recognition, to make a real difference where it matters most.
Tell us about your purpose, the impact you're creating, and what support could help you do even more.
Community Impact
Strong communities need strong healthcare leaders.
This category recognises healthcare professionals and practices making a positive impact beyond the walls of their practice, whether through outreach programs, education, accessibility initiatives, charitable work, advocacy or local community support.
Tell us how you're helping strengthen the communities you serve.
Innovation in Care
Innovation isn't always about technology. Sometimes it's a new way of thinking, solving problems or improving outcomes.
This category celebrates healthcare professionals and practices challenging the status quo to improve patient experiences, clinical outcomes, operational efficiency or access to care.
Tell us about the ideas, initiatives or improvements helping you create better outcomes for your patients and practice.
Emerging Leader
Leadership isn't defined by title. It's defined by action.
This category recognises emerging healthcare leaders who are shaping the future of their profession through initiative, influence, mentorship and a commitment to making a difference.
Tell us about your journey, the impact you've already made, and the future you're working towards.

Recipient stories
Menopause Health Geelong
Dr Elise Davey and Dr Yvonne McCartney, founders of Menopause Health Geelong, are transforming the way women experience perimenopause and menopause through compassionate, specialised care. With support from Credabl's Helping Hand Grant, they’ve expanded their reach, launched a second clinic, and sparked a movement for menopause awareness in clinics, workplaces, and communities.
Rockingham Dental
Rockingham Dental founders have built a culture rooted in leadership, innovation, and genuine care for their 35-strong team and community. Credabl's grant helped fast-track the clinic’s expansion—but more importantly, it recognised a business built on compassion and vision.
Eli Waters Animal Clinic
Husband-and-wife team Dr Lentswe and Promise Rampa emigrated from South Africa and built Eli Waters Animal Clinic from the ground up, with a focus on inclusive, community-based care. With support from Credabl’s Helping Hand Grant, they’ve launched a pet transport service to support elderly clients and provide dignified, in-home care.

Meet this year's judges

Beth McGuinness
Credabl - Chief People Officer
Having judged Helping Hand Grants before, I’ve seen just how much purpose sits behind the work healthcare professionals do every day. Often, it’s not the loudest story, but the quiet determination to make things better for patients, teams or communities that stays with you.
Purpose in Practice is about recognising that intent and the people who turn it into action. I’m incredibly proud to be judging again and can’t wait to hear this year’s stories.

Andrea McKenna
Aintree Group - CEO
We’ve always believed strong communities need strong and courageous leaders, which is why I’m so excited for Aintree Group to be part of this grant.
At Aintree Group, we strive to be Courageous Custodians of our Community. Community impact happens when someone sees a need and chooses to act, not because they have to, but because they care. That’s the leadership we want to celebrate.
This grant recognises healthcare professionals making a difference beyond their practice. To everyone taking their skills, ideas and care further, thank you. You make our communities stronger, and I can’t wait to hear your stories

Ben Marcos
BusiHealth - Director
Innovation isn’t about change for the sake of it. It’s about using knowledge, evidence and experience to find a better way forward. That’s why Innovation in Care resonates so strongly with us at BusiHealth. We see the impact informed data-led decisions can have on healthcare practices and the communities they serve.
I’m excited to recognise the people challenging what’s possible, solving real problems and turning great thinking into better care. I can’t wait to see the ideas this year’s applicants bring forward
Emma Pawlowski
Tyro Health - Head of Enterprise
A healthier healthcare system needs healthy people and sustainable practices. In working with Australia's largest healthcare organisations, I've seen firsthand how supporting practitioner and wellbeing creates better ways of working—ones that benefit individuals, teams, patients and communities for the long term.
I'm excited to judge this Sustainability & Wellbeing, and on behalf of Tyro Health, it's an honour to be able to recognise the practitioners already doing this thoughtful, practical work and to help unlock what's possible with the support of the Helping Hands grant

Nick Hagen
Nuestar - Director
Great leaders aren’t defined by a title. They’re the people willing to step forward, keep learning and bring others with them. That’s why the Emerging Leader grant resonates so strongly with me. Through coaching and my work at Nuestar, I see what can happen when talented people are given the right insight, support and belief at the right time.
I’m excited to recognise the healthcare professionals building momentum now and shaping what comes next

Helping Hand Grants is a Credabl initiative launched in 2020 to support Australian doctors, dentists and veterinarians who are making a meaningful difference through their work. In 2026, five recipients will each be awarded a $10,000 cash grant to help take their idea, initiative or impact further.
